Terence was a devoted husband to my sister, Cathy, and an incredible dad to Aidan, Colin & Sean. Aidan was seven years old, and twins Colin & Sean were four years old, when their father died. Terence was loved – and is missed – by a wide circle of family members, colleagues, and many, many friends. It was a great pleasure to record this song with Joan Harrison (wife of Terence’s brother, Brian) and her Too Blue band mates, along with Terence’s sixteen-year-old nephew, Kieran McShane (son of Terence’s brother, Kieran), and my terrific nephew, Aidan McShane, now twelve. Terence’s career was spent helping and protecting others – as a lifeguard, a police officer, and, finally, as a firefighter. In his memory, 100% of net proceeds from sales of this CD will benefit, in equal parts:
If you had the chance to enjoy Terence’s quick wit and quiet wisdom, you were fortunate, indeed. If you never met Terence, maybe you’ll get to know him a little bit through this song. In either case, I hope you’ll sing along. Christine Kellar |
